Kaj mi pomeni "Iz zemlje v stekleničko"?
Nekaj drži kot pribito tudi takrat, ko me malo zanese in za trenutek pozabim, kaj je bil osnovni namen ustanovitve blagovne znamke, ki združuje slovensko podeželje, tradicionalno modrost in moderna dognanja.
Koncept mojega profesionalnega delovanja izhaja iz ljubezni. Tisti, ki me poznajo, vedo, da sem zaljubljena v podeželje, vendar ljubim mestno življenje. Moj dom ni determiniran z nepremičninami in mikrolokacijami, je mnogo širši pojem. Ob Kolpi pomalcicam in skočim v kristalno čisto zeleno vodo z enako polnim srcem, kot se usedem pod lipo na Kozjanskem ali pa se sprehodim po gozdni poti do Rožnika v Ljubljani.
To so sicer tri lokacije, ki mi prve padejo na pamet, pa vendar redosled mojega naštevanja ne pove dosti o tem, katero opcijo preferiram, če sploh, še manj so naštete vse. Vse je odvisno od momenta, od notranje potrebe po določenem občutku in od tega, kaj počnem.
Vse to je, konec koncev, moj dom. In kamorkoli zaidem, se vedno znova rada vrnem, ker vem, da se tukaj počutim izpolnjeno in srečno. Četudi obožujem mango, vedno znova izberem svojo najljubšo češnjo in le malo zaostaja njena jesenska sestra, modra češplja, ki daje najbolj slastno marmelado.
Poseben odnos gojim do sadežev, ki jih pobiram sama, saj so to moji dobri znanci. Od spomladanskega reza do opojnega cvetenja in čebeljega živžava, ko se v drevju dogaja proces, ki obeta bogato bero.
Poseben odnos do njih gojim tudi zato, ker vem, kaj pomeni živeti v ritmu narave, ko je mati narava včasih širokogrudna in nas obdari s tonami pridelka, spet drugič v enem samem mrzlem jutru uniči vse, kar smo negovali mesece. Vem, kaj pomeni skuhati šest šarž ringlojeve marmelade, ker bi sicer segnile pod drevesi, ko jih je povsod polno. In vem tudi, kako prazno je gledati v ožgane češnje po pozebi, ko iz obilja v hipu ne ostane nič.
Sčasoma sem začela bolj razumeti, da rastlina v izdelku ni nikoli sama. Z njo pride vse, kar jo je oblikovalo. Zemlja, v kateri je rasla, vremensko dogajanje ter način nege in skrbi zanjo.
Zato nam pri MOIKI ni vseeno, od kod sestavina izvira. Tako kot pri hrani, kjer vedno pogosteje iščemo lokalno, ker vemo, da je krajša pot do krožnika tudi pot do boljše kakovosti. Svežina, hranilna vrednost in okus so neposredno povezani s časom in prostorom, iz katerega pride živilo. Enako velja za rastline v kozmetiki. Če želimo, da izdelek ohrani vse, kar je rastlina razvila v svojem naravnem okolju, potem mora biti ta rastlina tudi del sveže, poznane verige. Ne gre le za poreklo kot podatek na etiketi, gre za razumevanje, kaj ta kraj pomeni. Kdo tam živi. Kako dela. In zakaj zaupamo prav tem ljudem in tem rastlinam, da bodo postale del formulacije, ki jo ponudimo koži.
