Melisa in njen hidrolat.
Najprej naj na hitro osvežimo znanje. Botanični ali rastlinski izvlečki se pripravljajo na različne načine, integralni izvlečki, ki obsegajo sušenje in mletje cele rastline, pa so danes izjemno redki oz. jih težko srečate kot pripravljeno surovino za nadaljnjo uporabo. Raje kot celotno rastlino, se v ekstrakciji uporablja njene dele, odvisno seveda, kako učinkovanje želimo doseči. Ne želimo biti pikolovski, pač pa le slikamo nekoliko bolj jasno sliko in vas želimo usmeriti v pravilni način raziskovanja, ko se boste lotevali rastlinskega sveta v zdravilne namene.
Tako smo pripotovali do rastline, ki je nam zelo ljuba in nam je v nasadu povzročala nešteto preglavic.
Prav ste slišali. Melisa, ki vendar raste kot plevel in za uspešno vegetacijo ne potrebuje ničesar. Naj povemo, da je v mešanem nasadu trajnih zelišč majhna črna gosenica našla prav njo in si jo privoščila po principu: vse ali nič. Poskušali smo s prav vsemi pripravki, ki jih sicer poznamo kot naravne insekticide (pelin, kopriva, dalmatinski bolhač itd.), na koncu smo že napol odmrle rastline reševali z roko in gostje pobirali v vedro.
