Source of raw materials
Quality care cosmetics, which are pleasant to use, environmentally friendly and give the desired effects, consist of several different applications that are adapted to the individual types and conditions of your skin. In this place we do not make compromises between quality and usability, because with the advancement of technology, we can safely use healthy and at the same time high-quality products. In order to achieve the above, it is necessary to combine several groups of ingredients that have in common that they have their own origin in nature.
They represent the majority of ingredients in natural cosmetics vegetable oils, waxes, aromatic waters or hydrolates, plant extracts, isolated active ingredients, surfactants and preservatives. Their order is not a mere coincidence, because in this order they require more and more processing processes.
In a care cream with an average fat value, there is e.g. 30% vegetable oils and waxes, 5-6% surfactants, 50-55% hydrolates, 7-8% active ingredients; 1-3% plant extracts, 0.2-1% essential oils.
Oils and waxes, which we either produce ourselves or buy from verified local oil growers and beekeepers organic and high quality. We produce the majority of hydrolates ourselves, we only buy organic ones when our harvest on the farm is insufficient for various reasons.
Active substances they are most often the product of high-tech pharmaceutical companies that acquire them from the raw materials of organic education and carry certificates of suitability for use in natural cosmetics.
We also count everything here emulsifiers and other active surface substances, which usually combine incompatible substances (water and oil, for example) or give the product a specific property (shampoo cleanliness, for example).
When we talk about preservatives, it must be said that every product that contains water absolutely needs them for safe use. Unfortunately, we do not (yet) know of an effective natural preservative, there are only approximations. We we use synthetic preservatives permitted in natural cosmetics, which ensure microbiological integrity and enable the product to last a little longer than one week in the refrigerator, which is what we can expect from an otherwise non-preserved cosmetic product.
Some products contain minimal amounts of essential oils, we choose the purest and well-tested oils, mostly directly from European distilleries with a rich tradition and proven reputation.
